Entering and Leaving House Dua – Transliteration With Audio
Our home is our sanctuary. In Islam, entering and leaving the house are not just mundane acts but opportunities to seek Allah’s protection and blessings. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that invoking Allah’s name at the doorstep creates a barrier against Shaytan and invites tranquility into our dwelling.
Here are 3 essential Sunnah Duas for entering, leaving, and protecting your home.

Dua When Entering the House
Importance: Reciting this Dua upon entering the home reminds us that our comings and goings are by the will of Allah, and it encourages placing trust in Him.
Transliteration:
Allahumma innī as’aluka khayral-mawliji wa khayral-makhraji,
bismillāhi walajnā, wa bismillāhi kharajnā,
wa ‘alallāhi rabbina tawakkalnā
English Meaning:
O Allah, I ask You for the best of entry and the best of exit.
In the name of Allah, we enter, and in the name of Allah, we leave.
And upon Allah, our Lord, we place our trust.

Dua When Leaving the House
Importance: The Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever recites this Dua when leaving their house, it is said to them: “You are guided, defended, and protected.” The devils will go far away from them.
